Making Shareware Screensaver

To activate, click Shareware on Navigation Bar

This section allows you to customize your screensaver for commercial purpose by activating the Shareware Feature.

What is Shareware Screensaver?
Shareware screensaver is a screensaver with some limitations for evaluation purpose.
When the users buy your screensaver, you will provide them a registration key to unlock the screensaver. After the user entered the key, the screensaver will automatically become a full version where it removes all the limitations.

Shareware section contains following tabs:
·     Limitation: Set the limitation of screensaver in trial mode.
·     Registration Keys: Manage a list of valid registration keys.
·     Ad Image: Add an image that appears occasionally, this is usually an ad or a promotional image to encourage users to buy your screensaver. This image actives within evaluation period only.

To activate shareware feature check the Enable Shareware Feature option.
  
Limitation Tab
Limit Number of Images: Check this option to limit the number of image in trial version. This settings has 2 options to limit the images:
·     Use checked images: The trial version will contain the images that are checked in Image List.
·     Use the first n images: The trial version will contain the first n images from the Image List.
Limit Usage Days: Check this option to limit the usage days in trial version. The screensaver is set to expired if the users use your screensaver beyond that usage days.

  
Registration Keys
Use this tab to provide screensaver with a list of valid registration keys. You can enter it manually or use the Key Generator to fill in the list.
Give your customer one key from the list to unlock the screensaver.
Generate: Open Registration Keys Generator window to generate keys.
Clear: Clear the Registration Keys list.
Load from file: Load the keys from text file. Use this if you have the list in text file.
Save to file: Save the keys to text file. You can save the keys to text file for backup.

  
Ad Image
To enable Ad Image feature:
·     Click Browse button
·     Select an Image file (jpeg, gif, bmp) or a Nature Illusion file (wip), and click Open button.
·     Specify when to show the Ad Image.  The option is to show Ad Image after n images or s seconds.
·     Specify the Ad Duration in seconds.

To disable Ad Image feature, click Clear button.
